2023

In 2023 I have spent a lot of time traveling between two cities.

Each day that I’m in Melbourne I work into a piece of antique damask silk, stitching my memories as I attempt to repair its fragility.

When I am in my Sydney studio I work on paper that I remake from old drawings, embedding the past into where I am now. The idiosyncrasies of these new sheets of paper inform the daily drawings, just as the qualities of each day arrive with a new and unique flavour that is nevertheless shaped by recycled histories.
